Ipod issues :( sum1 help?

ok so here's the story, i reseted my ipod rebooted my comp did the hole ctrl+alt+delete execute program thing, and my ipod still wont be recognized on either itunes, OR ipod updater T_T but it reads the ipod on the J drive, and when i plug in my ipod it says that do not disconnect sign. Also, when i connect it some weird pop up comes up as if its downloading and says "auto playing" after that there is no action whatsoever, please help me, thanks
