What is a strong, yet pleasant-tasting drink?

I am looking for a very strong, yet somewhat pleasant-tasting alcoholic drink. I don't know about you, but the nasty bite of Smirnoff mixed with any and every fruit juice and every other concoction I have mixed up just isn't very nice tasting. Anything and everything would be appreciated!
