My male boxer that is 1 1/2 years old has horrible gas, what to do?

My boxer has really bad gas, he will be walking or sleeping and you can actually hear and smell him p gas. I feed him royal canin breed specific food. I don't know if that is a great dog food or not. Is there anything I can do to help with his stinky problem?
