Advice from girls please? Could this hurt my chances as far as dating?

So, im a guy, in high school. I was wondering if having long hair could hurt me as far as dating goes. its not like, freakish metal head long, just covers the back of my neck, doesnt even touch my shoulders. i guess if anything itd be kind of a rocker look and its pretty kept. I know stuff like this depends on each individual girl and her personal opinion, but in general, would it make a lot of girls kinda stay away? i dont drink or do drugs or anything, either. any advice would be appreciated :)
