What have gun-toting, fundamentalist Bible thumpers done for America that entitles them to be looked up to?

When this country is over run by illegal immigrants, and you are starving out in the cold, it will probably be one of those "gun-toting, fundamentalist Bible thumpers" that take you in. I know this, my family have always gone to church and owned guns. They have also fought in every war on American soil and abroad.
