What is your opinion about modern day police?

My opinion of police is the same as it was when I was a child...They don't help. They didn't help me when I was a child and our parents were beating us, they don't help in any point of my life. I don't waste my time calling the police. If you call them, the are not likely to even show up, and if they do bother to show up, the never do anything to help. Yes, I agree with you, I have seen cops re-write their ledgers to make it look like they responded to crimes they didn't respond to. I don't think it has anything to do with modern or the country, I think it is hard to find a cop that really does protect and serve.
