What do you do when you don't want to be someones friend?
She may be having a ruff time at home. especially at her age. but thats not really an excuse to be mean. She's having a hard time and telling her that you don't want to be friends with her is not a good thing to do, in my opinion. My daughter had a friend who told her she didn't want to be friends with her and then the girl ran off to be best friends with another girl. It tore my daughter apart and she stayed in her room for 3 days straight, crying about it. My daughter was having a ruff time but she recovered this year. She has tons of friends and she's doing rather well. Here's what I think you should do: Tell her that if she doesn't stop acting the way she is to y'all, then y'all aren't going to be around anymore. Now being extremely mean or just a little bit mean isn't going to help at all. Plus, it'll give you a bad reputation. If she doesn't start acting nicer and better within a week. Give her the bad news. Just say: Hey Gretchen. Ally and I feel that you're not treating us as we want to be treated. Friends are supposed to be there for each other and be nice to each other and help each other out. We know you're having a hard time but we just don't know how to break it to you. We just can't go on any longer with you treating us this way. I think it'd be better if we stopped being friends. Now it might be harder but it's better to do it face to face. But not cause a scene. Now if she doesn't get the message, don't be mean about it. Just tell her again but avoid seeing her. Hope I helped and good luck.
