Help!! Our puppy may have ring worms?

Help? Our puppy may have ring worms, but the vet says no. "It is just a abnormality." About a week after we first got our new puppy, i notice small bald spots with almost scab like appearance on his legs and paws. I called the vet to take in in for a routine check up and to look at the spots. All my research points to ring worms. The vet took some sample of the skin and finally about a month later, she said that it is just a skin abnormality. Now just a few days after i noticed a new and fresh spot appeared. Should i trust the vet or seek the opinion of another? He is only 4months today. The spot are bald like it lost hair, but it seems like there is no abrasion to the skin. They are just small bald spots i found on the tail and hind legs and front paws. Help guys.
